Did the Apostle Paul ever stop going to the Jew First? What did great Christians of the past have to say about the phrase to the Jew first in Romans 1:16? Can your church have a Scriptural mission program without Jewish missions? Our churches have greater resources than ever before, yet the percentage of Christians in the world is continually dropping. In failing to go to the Jew first, could it be that God's work is not being done God's way? In a clear, easily understood style, the Jew First Principle aptly expounds the Biblical principle of going to the Jew first in a way that challenges the seasoned Bible scholar, yet can still be easily understood by new Christians.

There has never been a time when the plea for biblical modesty was more needed than in these last days of apostasy. We are seeing an epidemic of promiscuity among our youth. Adultery, fornication, and the like is largely a result of many brethren lowering the biblical standards of modesty, especially as seen among our ladies. We are living in a very licentious, wanton, and loose society which the enemies of God have orchestrated to seduce, tempt, and entice godly men and boys away from holy living. We are exhorted to abstain from all appearance of evil and from fleshly lusts which war against the soul. It is increasingly more difficult for our men and boys to keep pure minds. Immodestly dressed women are on billboards, television, the internet, and on magazine and book covers at the checkout isle. But the real tragedy is that this corruption is being displayed in so-called “Baptist” churches and “Christian” homes across the nation. Churches are conforming to worldly standards at a rapid pace. Many are allowing the protective wall of godly apparel to be broken down, which was designed to protect us from provoking the sinful appetites of the heart. Historically, Baptist churches have exemplified godly standards of modesty. If we do not defend and protect that godly heritage, standards will continue decreasing within our churches. As our world continues down the path of ungodliness, by the grace of God, we can continue to be the salt of the earth – the salt of humility, the salt of godliness, the salt of holy living, the salt of biblical modesty. Our good friend in the Lord, Sister Kathy Armentrout, has been burdened by God to set forth an encouraging treatise for all Christian ladies. Her premise is built on the Holy Scriptures, and we join her desire to provoke many to return to biblical standards of modesty, against the backdrop of a ungodly society. This book touches the HEART of the problem - that is, the HEARTS of God’s people. Every Christian lady, teenager, and girl should be encouraged to read this very practical and helpful book. May God add His richest blessings and exhortation to all who read its message. Each word written comes from a meek and quiet spirit which desires only the best for us all. I commend our sister, her writing ministry, and her godly example to all the churches. Dr. K. Daniel Fried, Director Hope of Israel Baptist Mission
