Hasidic Jew Saved!

Since our last post, I have had the privilege of helping to lead a Hasidic Jew to Christ. This was not the first Jew I have seen saved, but he was the first Ultra-Orthodox. He was given a free Hebrew/English New Testament by his friend as a birthday gift. He admitted that this made him mad, so he decided to read it in order to disprove it. After reading it for several weeks, He contacted us with many questions. I answered his questions the best I could, but he soon quit asking.
In December, a Christian Jew wrote to us and asked if we could send New Testaments for his trip to Israel. His name sounded familiar, but I did not know why. I asked him to tell me more about his salvation, and his trip to Israel. He responded, “Don’t you remember me? I was the one who had all of the questions.” He said that he realized we were right and had since received Jesus as his Messiah. Praise the Lord!
He was training to be an Orthodox rabbi. In fact, he left for Israel in January to study in a Yeshiva, which is a Hebrew college for rabbis. He took a case of New Testaments and said that he would try to get them out to the other rabbis. For the sake of his safety, I cannot give his name at this time. However, he said that he plans to attend the 2007 HIBM conference.
