We will be holding dedication services for Messiah Baptist Church of Athens, GA on May 6th at 1:00 p.m. My pastor, Bro. Bill South, and my brother-in-law, Bro. Craig Ogle, pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Sylacauga, Al, will be preaching the service.

Many have asked concerning our plans for this work. We will start the work as a mission out of our local church with the intention of trying to win the Jews of Athens, Georgia and later constitute the work as a local church. When this is accomplished, we will turn it over to a pastor and then go to a Jewish area in another city and do the same. It will be just like church planting in Mexico, only among the Jewish neighborhoods in America.  Three Jews in Athens have already responded to the tracts and flyers by requesting a Free Hebrew/English New Testament. Please pray that they will read it and receive their Messiah!

Every Saturday my family travels to Athens to meet the Hill family and pass out tracts and flyers. On April 9 my home church came out to help us. We had 32 people journey over an hour with us to help give out the Gospel. They will be doing this again next weekend in preparation for our first service. It was a great encouragement to us. Thank you to everyone who came! There is a possibility that we will be purchasing a 28 passenger bus for the mission. How is that to kick start a visitation program? We’ll have to get a CDL, but we are excited about the possibilities. As you can tell, we are on fire and ready to charge.
