As many of you know, my wife and I have been praying for another child for 8 years. After Jacob was born, we had four miscarriages in as many years. With one miscarriage the complications were so great that my wife had to undergo surgery, and we thought we’d never be able to have any more children. Keep reading because you won’t believe this!

     In our last prayer letter, we mentioned the need to print Hebrew- Russian Bibles for Jews. I had some money saved to go to Israel with other HIBM missionaries, but felt like God wanted me to give the money to help print these Bibles. As my wife was at the bank putting the money into the drive through container, she got VERY sick. She pulled into a parking place until she felt better, and then went to the doctor for tests. She called and said, “Guess what. We are going to have a baby!” Boy was I surprised. I said, “They told you this at the bank?” She laughed and explained what had happened.

     I have preached for years that God promises to bless us if we will bless the Jews. It is more than coincidence that God let us find out about the baby while my wife was depositing money for Jewish Bibles! God told Abraham, “I will bless them that bless thee…” Please pray for my wife and the baby at this time. What a blessing!
