As I write this prayer letter, we are excitedly awaiting some very important news about our church in Athens, GA. I have delayed writing in hopes that I could give you more information, but as of now a final decision has not been made.

     We heard about a cute little country church building that is for sale in Athens. It sits on 7 acres of land and seats about 80-90 people with Sunday School rooms in the basement. We thought it would be perfect until we found out that they were asking $1.7 million! Needless to say, we decided to pass on that one. When we finally get our own place, we will be able to use the 18 beautiful pews given to us by Journey Baptist. They are in storage waiting for their new home. We are considering a couple of locations for lease. There is a lot going on behind the scenes that I am afraid to mention right now. It’s like we’re right in the middle of a miracle, and I can’t disclose it yet.

     We have pews, people,a church van, etc. Now all we need is the building. As soon as we decide which building we will use, I will give you more details. I will try to give another update in 2-3 weeks with a full (almost unbelievable) story. In the meantime, please pray for us.
