Though it seems like just yesterday that my wife gave birth to Isaac, it has already been 20 months.  We just found out last week that we have another little one on the way due in June-July!

     After our first child, Jacob, was born, we were not able to have children for eight years.  Our heart's desire was for more children, but four consecutive miscarriages dwindled our hope of that ever happening.  We fought back tears each time we read in the Bible about a barren woman.  We continued to pray Genesis 12:3 where God promised to bless those who bless Israel.  We also never gave up on Psalms 127:3, "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."

     We thank God for answered prayers and for giving us the desires of our heart.  My wife is still considered a high risk pregnancy so I would be lying if I said there was no nervousness on our part.    We earnestly covet your prayers during this time.
