Last week I was privileged to preach a revival meeting at Faith Baptist Church in Sylacauga, Alabama, where my brother-in-law now pastors.  It was great to return to the church in which I was saved almost 14 years ago.  I preached a series from the book of Nehemiah in hope of encouraging the people to continue in the work of the Lord.  Bro. Craig has done a terrific job in leading the church and growing the work.   I felt very insufficient to preach in his stead, but I felt like the Lord was able to meet with us in spite of my insufficiency. 

On Friday I was able to enjoy a round of golf with Bro. Craig and my nephew Brad.  I thoroughly enjoy golf but it seems I only get to play when I return home which is about twice per year.  Needless to say, my lack of practice was evident by the fact that I lost by 12 strikes to a 15 year old!

On Saturday the church gave my wife a baby shower.  She receive so much stuff that we were packed into the car like sardines on the way home.  I have posted some pics from this trip in the photo gallery.  I will post more as I am able.
